History: I grew up in Ocala, Florida, just outside the Ocala National Forest.  This is where I first caught the fishing bug, thanks to my Father and other family members.  With my family and friends, I spent a lot of time fishing various Forest ponds, Orange Lake, The Ocklawaha River, and the Gulf of Mexico near Yankee Town.   By the age of 10, I knew I wanted to fish for a living.  So, when I was old enough, I saved my money and bought my first bass boat, a 1989 15.5' Starline Predator w/ a 70 hp Johnson.  Not much of a  boat, but it did the trick.  I began my career in 1997, during my junior year at UCF.  I started fishing local tournaments on West Lake Tohopekaliga in Kissimmee and on the Butler Chain of Lakes near Sea World.  On occasion, I would drive down to Roland Martin's Marina in Clewiston on Lake Okeechobee and do some overflow guide trips for them.  Then, in May of 1998, I moved to Clewiston and began guiding full-time at Roland Martin's Marina.  Since then, I fished one year as an FLW Co-angler, and two years on the FLW Pro Division as a member of FLW's Team Conseco.  In the summer of 2002, I moved back to the Orlando area in search of bigger Bass.  Okeechobee, as many of you know, is one of our country's premier Bass fishing lakes.  But, Lake Toho and the Kissimmee Chain, due to their cooler climates, tend to grow a bigger strain of fish.  Lake Toho holds the B.A.S.S. all-time, one day, five fish record of 45 pounds 2 ounces caught by Dean Rojas just a few years ago. In 2003, I began fishing the B.A.S.S. Southern Division, in hopes of qualifying for the Top 150 Tour.  I ended the season with a final overall ranking of 17th.  My best finishes of the season were a 5th place finish on Wheeler Lake (Alabama) and a 27th place finish on Lake Okeechobee.

Also in 2003, I joined the Skeeter Performance Boats Team, partnered with Yamaha Outboards.

Guide History: Guiding full-time since 1998.  #1 requested guide at Roland Martin's Marina in 2002.  #2 requested guide at Roland Martin's marina 1999, 2000, & 2001.  Averaging 190 - 240 trips per year.
